Al Davies was born in the middle of Sydney (Camperdown), shortly thereafter his family moved to the Western Suburbs. Picking up the guitar in his early teens, he was taught the acoustic guitar at “Western Districts Music School” and promptly joined various bands, before joining the successful band “Interface”, as a guitarist.

Al performs superb Instrumental Spanish, Classical and some Flamenco Guitar, and is a highly experienced Musician who has enjoyed success both overseas and locally.

Classically trained in Sydney, and now residing on the Fraser Coast of Queensland, he has received various certificates/awards for his music, with contributions to Live Gig Concerts, such as: the Cancer Council of Qld; Mental Health Awareness; Leukemia Foundation and many more.

Al has been voted best male performer by Fraser Coasts Got Talent, and was selected as a recipient for an R.A.D.F grant for his music, on the Fraser Coast.

He has performed at numerous Events/Festivals, such as: Relish Food & Wine Festival; Lighthouse Festival; Woodford Folk Festival; Seafood Festival; Chilli & Lime Festival; Childers Festival; many more intimate occasions, and at various Venues.

Al Davies has worked with many professional Musicians during the span of his career, and has released two professional albums.
